My fairly faithful laptop of many years, a Gateway 600YGR, recently ceased to be, and has become an ex-laptop.

I'd use the money to buy myself a new Dell laptop, probably max the RAM out.

That would give me about £500, i would try to get a gaming pc

for once i would like to go into a shop and buy a high end pc game without looking at the specs to see if my laptop will run it, even games that have half the spec requirements of my laptop still seem to struggle on low detail

heh, i'm actually coming into 5 large here in a week or so... i'm gonna pad out my collection a bit, finish up the tats i need and then pay for a vacation for the husband and i. rest will go to bills. but yeah. that's what i'm gonna do...
