I have been spending so much time in the kitchen lately!  It's the holidays so I've been baking, baking, baking!  I'm giving out a lot of homemade goodies as gifts this year!  I really hope my friends and family like them!  I'll be taking pictures of everything I make to include in my gallery!

I've also been blogging!  That's right!  I've created a few blogs recently!  It's been pretty fun!  My blogs are:

Shop For Animal Rescue shop4animals.blogspot.com/ - A collection of stores (mostly online) where the proceeds go to benefit animal rescue and welfare organizations.

Resources For Photographers info4photographers.blogspot.co… - Information, articles, links, reviews, etc. regarding photography.

Cell Phone Snapshots cellphonesnaps.blogspot.com/ - A photo blog of different snapshots I've taken with my cell phone!

All of those blogs are fairly new, so they don't have a lot of content yet.  But I do update them regularly, so definitely check back if you're interested in any of them!  If you chose to follow any of my blogs, I'll definitely follow yours back!

From now until the end of 2008, in every journal I'll be featuring some homeless pets in the US. The purpose of this is to raise awareness for animal rescue and adoption! Today's pets are:

Samson is a 5 year old male black lab from Wellfleet, MA. His owner had a change in housing and was unable to keep him because of this. Samson was surrendered to the rescue along with a female dog who has since been adopted. Since he's lived with another dog his entire life and gets along great with his foster family's dog, his foster family thinks he would do best in a home with another dog. He also gets along with dog savvy cats. He is very affection and thinks he's a lap dog...even though he's 80lbs! He is very quick at learning commands and will do anything for a treat! Oreo is an adult male domestic medium haired black and white cat from Chicago, IL. He is very sweet and loving and simply adores people. He also gets along great with cats and dogs. Pearl is a female Sheltie breed Guinea Pig with a black, red & white coat from Double Oak, TX. The rescue she is in considers her to be an absolute gem and says she's looking for a handsome beau or a new best girlfriend as the rescue only adopts out Guinea Pig pairs or individual Guinea Pigs going home to an exsisting piggy friend.
